LIPS · A GUIDE BEFORE YOU CHOOSE
Lip blush or lip filler?
Colour and volume are different goals. Here is how to start the conversation at LK Beauty in Sandycroft.
Start with the change you want
If you are looking for a tint or clearer-looking lip borders, lip blush may be an option to discuss. If your goal is a change in fullness or contour, lip filler is a different procedure. Neither is automatically suitable, and deciding to have no treatment is always an option.
| Your question | Lip blush / lip tattoo | Lip filler |
|---|---|---|
| What does it change? | Deposits pigment to enhance the appearance of colour and definition. | Injectable gel changes volume and contour. |
| Does it add volume? | No filler volume is added. | Volume is part of the treatment plan. |
| What needs planning? | Shade, shape, existing pigment, healing and possible top-ups. | Anatomy, previous filler, proposed product and amount, settling time and review. |
| What about maintenance? | Pigment can fade; retention and future top-ups vary. | Longevity and further treatment depend on the product and individual assessment. |
Can I have both?
They serve different purposes, but having one does not mean the other is suitable. Explain any existing filler or cosmetic tattooing to the practitioner. Ask about timing, healing and risks before arranging multiple procedures.
Compare fresh and healed photographs
A photograph taken immediately after treatment may show swelling or stronger colour. Ask what stage the example shows and whether healed examples are available. Clinic photographs offer inspiration; they cannot promise your own result.
Questions for your consultation
What is realistic for my natural lip shape? What relevant training and insurance does the practitioner hold? How are complications handled? What does the price include, and will a follow-up or top-up cost extra? How should I prepare and who do I contact afterwards?
Current lip treatment prices
These prices are read from the clinic’s current price list. A proposed treatment and full cost must be agreed after assessment. Top-ups are separate where shown.
